Preparation Method :
- Soak tamarind in water for ½ an hour. Remove seeds and strain.
- Roast cumin seeds on hot griddle for a minute. Grind into powder
- Peel the potatoes and cut into 5 roundels each.
- Cut each roundel from the middle to give the shape of semicircle.
- Add tamarind, cumin powder, salt, rock salt and red chili powder.
INGREDIENTS
- Lemon sized tamarind
- 200 ml water
- 3 tablespoons cumin seeds
- 8 boiled potatoes
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon rock salt
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
