Preparation Method :
- Peel and cut potatoes into 4 pieces each. Finely chop the onions.
- Preheat oil in a medium frying pan. Deep fry the onion over high heat till golden brown. Transfer to a plate.
- Remove excess oil from the frying pan leaving only 3 tablespoons oil.
- Add mustard seeds. After a minute add the potatoes and fry over high heat for 3 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Fry for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving bowl. Whip the yogurt and add a little salt.
- Spread yogurt evenly over the potatoes.

- 300 ml peanut oil
- 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 300 ml yogurt
