Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a non-stick saucepan and sauté the chilli and garlic for about half a minute.
- Add the curry paste, chilli powder, salt and water. Bring to the boil and simmer over a moderate heat at least for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the yogurt and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add the potatoes and simmer for another 5 minutes or until there is enough gravy left in the dish to coat the potatoes.
- Stir in the fenugreek, fennel seeds, garam masala and coriander. Cook for 1 more minute and serve hot.

- 250 grams fresh new potatoes, washed, drained and parboiled
- 100 ml hot water
- 50 ml low-fat yogurt, beaten
- 10 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon Curry Paste
- 1 green chilli, left whole
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves, crumbled
- 2 teaspoon fennel seeds, pounded
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- Red chilli powder and salt, to taste
- A handful of chopped fresh coriander leaves and stalks
