POTATOES AND CHICKEN MEATBALLS

Preparation Method :
- Dissolve the dashi granules in measured water.
- Place the potatoes, dashi and seasoning in a pot. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Add fish cakes, fish balls, chicken meatballs, mushrooms and leek. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Add the soft bean curd. Return to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Serve immediately.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams soft bean curd, cut into cubes
- 225 grams potatoes, peeled, quartered and soaked in cold water
- 3 teaspoon dashi granules
- 1 litre water
- 15-16 assorted fish cakes and fish balls
- 10-12 chicken meatballs
- 8-9 button mushrooms, caps wiped and stems removed
- 1 leek, large, trimmed and cut diagonally into ½ inch slices
Seasoning
- 2 tablespoon sake
- 50 ml Japanese soy sauce
