POTATO IN CORIANDER GRAVY

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Peel and cut potatoes into 4 pieces each. Finely chop onion.
  • Remove the coriander leaves from stem, wash and grind into a fine paste.
  • Preheat oil in a small pressure cooker over high heat. Add coriander seeds.
  • After a minute add onion and fry for 3 minutes. Add potato and fry for another 3 minutes.
  • Add chili powder. Coriander powder and salt. Fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  • Add coriander paste, lemon juice water and garam masala and pressure cook till 1 whistle over high heat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • A bunch of coriander leaves 
  • 5 tablespoons mustard oil 
  • 2 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoon coriander powder 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 lemon
  • Water
  • 2 teaspoon garam masala
