Preparation Method :
- Peel and cut potatoes into 2 pieces each.
- Chop onion and tomatoes and grind into a smooth paste.
- Clean the fish and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garlic paste and salt to taste. Add potatoes. Mix well.
- Preheat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Fry fish pieces 4 at a time till golden brown.
- In the remaining oil fry potatoes 4 pieces at a time, till they get golden brown.
- Add black mustard seeds, dry red chilies and bay leaves to the remaining oil. After a minute add onion and tomato paste, remaining turmeric powder, red chili powder, garlic paste and mustard paste / powder
- Fry till fat leaves the sides. Add water and salt and cover and cook potatoes till they get tender.
- Add fish and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from fire. Garnish with coriander leaves.

- 4 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoon mustard pastel powder
- 500 ml hot water
- 200 grams chopped coriander leaves
