Preparation Method :
- Peel and cut the potatoes into 4 pieces each, lengthwise.
- Preheat oil in a medium frying pan over high heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard and saute for a minute.
- Add onions and green chilies and fry for three minutes.
- Add tomatoes and fry for another two minutes.
- Add garlic paste, coconut paste and slit garlic cloves. Fry over low heat till tomatoes reduce to a thick paste, approximately 5-6 minutes.
- Add potatoes, salt and turmeric powder.

- 6 boiled potatoes
- 4 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 teaspoon cumin seed
- 2 teaspoon black mustard
- 2 chopped onion
- 4 chopped green chilies
- 2 chopped tomato
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 2 tablespoon coconut paste
- 6 garlic cloves
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoon turmeric powder
