BENGALI POTATOES

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan and stir-fry the five spices for a minute.
  • Add the garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the onion and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes or until soft.
  • Add the cooked sweet potatoes and chopped fresh coriander, stir-fry until all the ingredients are well blended and heated through.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt to taste and serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams small sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 150 grams  onion, chopped
  • 50 ml mustard oil
  • 2 teaspoons five spices
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 10 grams chopped fresh coriander
  • Salt to taste
