ALOO PANEER

Preparation Method :

  • Peel and cut potatoes into 6 pieces each. Cut cottage cheese into cubes.
  • Preheat oil in a medium frying pan over high heat. Add cardamoms and cinnamon. Add cottage cheese and fry till they turn brown. Transfer to a plate.
  • In the remaining oil add onion and fry till golden brown. Add potato and green chilies and fry for 3 minutes.
  • Add salt, coriander powder, red chili powder and tomato. Fry till fat leaves the sides. Add cottage cheese and fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Add water and garam masala. Cover and bring to a boil. Remove from fire. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 medium sized boiled potatoes 
  • 200 grams cottage cheese paneer
  • 6 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 6 green cardamoms
  • 4 sticks cinnamon 
  • 2 finely chopped onion
  • 4 chopped green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 finely chopped tomato
  • 250 ml water
  • 2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 200 grams chopped coriander leaves
