ALOO MATAR

Preparation Method :

  • Peel and cut potatoes into 4 pieces each. Slit green chilies. Finely chop the tomato.
  • Preheat oil in a small frying pan over high heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and green chilies. After a minute add onion, ginger paste and garlic paste and fry till golden brown.
  • Add potatoes, turmeric powder, pepper and salt. Fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add green peas. Stir-fry till green peas are tender.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 boiled potatoes 
  • 100 grams green peas
  • 4 green chilies
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 2 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon pepper
  • Salt to taste
