Preparation Method :
- Soak split skinless chickpeas in water for 1 hour. Drain away water and set aside.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into 4 pieces each.
- Preheat oil in a medium pressure cooker over high heat. Add cumin seeds.
- Add onion and fry till golden brown.
- Add chopped coriander leaves potatoes, split skinless chickpeas, tomato, ginger paste and garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes.
- Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry for 10 minutes.
- Add water and garam masala and close the lid of the pressure cooker. Cook till 2 whistles.

- 400 grams split skinless chickpeas
- 4 potatoes
- 5 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 chopped onion
- 2 chopped tomato
- 2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 2 teaspoon garlic paste
- 2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 500 ml water
- 2 teaspoon garam masala
- 100 grams chopped coriander leaves
