ALOO CHANA

Preparation Method :

  • Soak grams in water for 4- 5 hours. Drain away water and set aside.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut into 4 pieces each.
  • Preheat oil in a medium frying pan over high heat. Add cumin seeds.
  • Add onion and fry till golden brown. Add potatoes, grams, tomato, ginger paste and garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry for 10 minutes.
  • Add water and garam masala. Cover and bring to boil.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams boiled grams
  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • 5 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomato
  • 2 teaspoon ginger paste 
  • 2 teaspoon garlic paste 
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoon red chili powder 
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 teaspoon garam masala 
  • 200 grams chopped coriander leaves
