POTATOES AND WILD RICE

Preparation Method :

  • Boil, steam or microwave asparagus until tender, serve with potato mixture.

Potatoes and Wild Rice:

  • Peel and cut potatoes into 1 cm cubes.
  • Heat oil and butter in pan, add potatoes, bacon and garlic, cook, stirring, until potatoes are tender; drain on absorbent paper.
  • Return potato mixture to pan, stir in cream, rice, tomatoes and thyme, simmer, uncovered, about 3 minutes or until cream thickens slightly.  

 

INGREDIENTS

  • You will need to cook 50 grams wild rice for this recipe.
  • 500 grams fresh asparagus

POTATOES AND WILD RICE

  • 500 grams Old potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 20 grams butter
  • 2 bacon rashers, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 200 ml cream
  • ½ cup cooked wild rice
  • 50 grams drained sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
