SWEET PARATHAS

Makes :

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix together milk and sugar and let the sugar completely dissolve in milk.
  • Peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Add milk and potato to wheat flour along with eating soda, green cardamom powder and ghee and knead into smooth dough.
  • Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Make balls, and roll into 4 cm diameter discs with a rolling pin. Use a little wheat flour to dust the discs while rolling.
  • Cook each disc on a preheated griddle over high heat till they turn brown on both the sides. Apply ghee while cooking each side.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 ml warm milk
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 4 boiled potatoes 
  • A pinch of eating soda 
  • 2 tablespoon green cardamom powder
  • 600 grams wheat flour 
  • 250 ml ghee
