HAM WITH VERMOUTH AND CREAM

Preparation Method :

  • Melt the butter in a pan, add the ham slices and heat very gently. Lift out the ham and arrange on a warm serving dish. Cover and keep warm.
  • Add the mushrooms to the pan, cover, and cook gently for 4 minutes.
  • Remove the lid and stir in the cream and vermouth. Season to taste with salt and pepper and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until thickened a little.
  • Spoon the sauce over the ham.
  • Serve with buttered noodles and salad. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams butter 
  • 8 thin slices cooked ham 
  • 200 grams button mushrooms, sliced
  • 250 ml single cream 
  • 250 ml dry vermouth
  • Salt and white pepper
