Preparation Method :
- Cut the pork into paper-thin slices. Combine the ginger, garlic crushed with salt and five-spice powder.
- Rub over cover and set aside for 10 minutes. Prepare the vegetables. Cut the onion wedges crossways and separate into layers.
- Have all ingredients assembled within reach of where you will be cooking. Combine the soy sauce with water, corn flour and sesame oil.
- Heat the wok, add oil and, when the oil is very hot, fry the onion for 1 minute.
- Remove to a plate at once. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil and when hot add the pork and stir-fry, tossing and stirring constantly, until it is no longer pink about 4 minutes depending on the cook top.
- Stir the soy sauce mixture as corn flour will have settled, and pour into wok.
- Stir constantly until the sauce boils and thickens return the vegetables and toss for 10 seconds to combine.
- Serve immediately with steamed rice.
