Preparation Method :
- Cut bread into squares, soak in evaporated milk for 10 minutes and beat with a fork.
- Add pork, with salt and black pepper to taste, mustard and onion and mix well to combine. Stir in egg. Shape mixture into 8 patties.
- Heat a heavy nonstick frying pan, smear base with a little oil and cook patties for 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Place each pattie on a lettuce leaf and top with fried onion. Serve on toasted rolls.

- 500 grams lean pork mince
- 3 tablespoon grated onion
- 2 slices bread, crusts removed
- 75 ml evaporated milk
- ½ teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 egg, beaten
- Freshly ground black pepper and Salt, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
