MINI PIZZAS

Preparation Method :

  • Combine chicken mince, onion, ginger-garlic paste, bread crumbs, sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Form 6 flat tikkis, slightly smaller than the pizza base. Refrigerate for about 45 minutes.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a non stick pan. Shallow fry the tikkis on both sides on medium heat. Keep aside.
  • Sauce: Heat the butter in a pan. Add the mushrooms followed by the tomato puree, ketchup, oregano, salt and chilli.
  • Add about ¼ cup of water and cook for at least 1 - 2 minutes on low heat. Remove from heat.
  • Heat oven to 250°C. Oil the base and top of the pizza base slightly. Grill till the edges turn light brown and the base turns crisp.
  • Place tikki on the grilled pizza base. Top it with about 2 tablespoon of sauce and sprinkle the grated cheese and chopped capsicum.
  • Place pizza on an oven tray and grill till cheese melts and Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 mini pizza bases 
  • 250 grams chicken mince, Grind for few seconds
  • 1 slice bread - remove sides and crumble to get fresh crumbs 
  • ½ onion - chopped finely 
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste 
  • 100 ml tomato puree 
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 4 mushrooms - sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon butter 
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 3 tablespoon mozzarella cheese
  • Salt, red chilli powder and pepper to taste
  • ½ capsicum - chopped finely
