Preparation Method :
- Place the water in a large saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir in oil, salt and pasta and cook for 10 minutes or until it is cooked.
- Tomato sauce: Place the onion and garlic in a bowl, cover and cook in a microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the tomatoes and cornflour mixture, oregano, tomato puree with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook, uncovered, for 3 - 5 minutes, stirring.
- Drain the pasta and stir in the sauce and butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.

- 400 grams canned tomatoes, chopped, juice reserved and blended with 1 teaspoon cornflour
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano

- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 litres water
