SPAGHETTI WITH SALAMI AND CAPSICUM

Preparation Method :
- Heat oil in a heavy-based frying pan.
- Add onion, garlic and salami. Cook for 5 minutes, stir it over medium heat. Add capsicum; cover pan and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add undrained, crushed tomatoes, wine and basil, Bring to the boil and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
- Remove lid and cook for another 15 minutes or until liquid is reduced and sauce is desired consistency. Add salt and pepper.
- Add pasta to a large pan of rapidly boiling water and cook until just tender; drain and return to pan.
- Toss half the sauce with the pasta; divide between warmed serving dishes; top with remaining sauce and then serve.

- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 150 grams spicy salami slices, cut into strips
- 2 large red capsicum, chopped
- 825 grams can tomatoes
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 500 grams spaghetti
