SPAGHETTI WITH GORGONZOLA

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water for about 10 to 12 minutes until tender but not soft.
  • Meanwhile heat the cream in a pan, add the Gorgonzola and stir until melted. Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
  • Drain the spaghetti, return to the pan and toss with the butter, nutmeg to taste, spring onions (scallions) and Parmesan cheese.
  • Turn the spaghetti into a warmed serving dish, and pour over the sauce. Sprinkle with chives.
  • Serve immediately with a tomato and basil salad. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 gram spaghetti 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper 
  • 250 ml single cream 
  • 200 gram Gorgonzola cheese, diced 
  • 50 gram butter 
  • Freshly grated nutmeg 
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped 
  • 50 gram grated Parmesan cheese 
  • Chopped chives to garnish
