SPAGHETTI WITH CREAMY GARLIC MUSSELS

Preparation Method :
- Add spaghetti to a large pan of rapidly boiling water and cook until just tender. Drain and keep warm.
- While cooking spaghetti , remove beards from mussels and wash away any grit. Set It aside.
- Heat oil in a large pan. Add garlic and stir over low heat for 45 seconds.
- Add wine and mussels, Simmer, covered for 5-7 minutes. Remove mussels and set aside.
- Add cream, basil, salt and pepper to pan. Simmer for 2 minutes, stir it occasionally.
- Serve sauce and mussels over spaghetti. Serve it with Crusty bread.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams spaghetti
- 1.5 kg mussels in the shell
- 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 100 ml white wine
- 225 ml thickened or pouring cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
