SPAGHETTI PUTTANESCA

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Add spaghetti or fettuccine to a large pan of rapidly boiling water.
  • Cook pasta until just tender and drain immediately. Return drained pasta to pan.
  • While pasta is cooking, heat oil in a heavy-based frying pan.
  • Add garlic, parsley and chilli flakes stir and cook for 1 minute over medium heat.
  • Add undrained, crushed tomatoes and stir to combine. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
  • Add capers, anchovies and olives, stir and cook for 5 minutes. Add black pepper to it then stir.
  • Add sauce to pasta and toss gently until evenly distributed. Serve immediately in warmed pasta bowls.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon chilli flakes or powder
  • 450 grams can tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 3 anchovy fillets, chopped
  • 50 grams black olives
  • Black pepper, to taste
