Preparation Method :
- Place the asparagus on a baking sheet. Brush generously with oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place under a preheated boiler and cook for 8 minutes, turning as the stalks brown.
- Meanwhile, bring a large saucepan of water to a boil and cook the penne for 6 minutes if fresh or 10 minutes if dried or according to packet directions.Cook the beans or peas in a separate saucepan of lightly salted boiling water for 2 minutes.
- Drain the pasta. Pour the cream into the empty pasta pan over the heat. Add the cooked beans or peas, broiled asparagus, and Parmesan.
- Season with salt and pepper. Return the cooked pasta to the pan.
- Add the mint and toss well with 2 wooden spoons.
- Serve at once.

- 750 grams asparagus, trimmed and cut into short lengths
- 8 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 400 grams penne
- 500 grams shelled fava beans or peas
- 10 tablespoons heavy cream
- 250 grams freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
- 8 tablespoons chopped mint
- Salt and Pepper
