SPINACH PASTA

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook pasta al dente, as per instructions on the pack.
  • Melt the butter on a low flame, preferably on a non-stick or a heavy bottom steel pan.
  • Add the chilli and garlic.
  • Saute for about 40 seconds and add spinach. Saute till the spinach is blanched.
  • Stir in the milk and when it starts to simmer, add the cream cheese and stir on low to medium heat. Allow the sauce to lightly simmer.
  • Add in the pasta and stir, turning off the heat.
  • Serve hot with garlic bread on the side. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon butter/garlic butter
  • 1 sliced green chilli (optional)
  • 1-2 garlic pearls (chopped)
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 1 small bowl of washed & chopped spinach
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed black pepper-(optional)
  • 200 grams pasta
