CHICKEN RAVIOLI WITH BUTTERED SAGE SAUCE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Add Ravioli to a large pan of rapidly boiling water.
  • Cook until just tender. Drain pasta in colander and return to pan.
  • While ravioli is cooking, melt butter in a heavy-based pan.
  • Add spring onion and sage and stir for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
  • Add sauce to pasta; toss well. Pour into a warmed serving platter and sprinkle with parmesan.
  • Garnish with fresh sage leaves; serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams fresh or dried chicken-filled ravioli 
  • 4 tablespoons butter 
  • 4 spring onions chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
  • Pepper and Salt, to taste 
  • 100 grams freshly grated parmesan cheese, (for serving)
  • Fresh sage leaves, for garnish
