Preparation Method :
- Boil water in a pot and add a teaspoon of salt. Now cook the pasta in the boiling water for 5-8 minutes.
- Heat a pan and roast the pine nuts for a minute.
- In a food processor combine basil, olive oil, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, pecorino cheese, and garlic.
- Blend it until smooth. Transfer it into a bowl.
- Drain the pasta after reserving 1/2 cup of cooking water.
- Add pasta to the bowl containing basil pesto sauce. Season it with salt and pepper as per the taste.
- Mix it well. (Add the reserved pasta water if the prepared pasta is too dry)
- Serve immediately.

- 300 grams fettuccine pasta
- 150 grams fresh basil leaves (blanched)
- 50 grams parmesan cheese (finely grated)
- 25 grams pine nuts
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 30 ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons pecorino cheese (grated)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Water for cooking pasta
