FARFALLE WITH TUNA AND CAPERS

Preparation Method :
- Heat butter and oil in large frying pan, Add onion and garlic stir over low heat until onion is tender.
- Add mushrooms to pan. Cook for atleast 5 minutes, Pour in cream.
- Bring to the boil Simmer until sauce begins to thicken.
- Add flaked tuna, lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper to cream mixture; stir to combine. Heat gently, stir constantly.
- While sauce is cooking, add farfalle to a large pan of rapidly boiling water and cook until just tender. Drain well and return to pan.
- Add sauce to farfalle and toss to combine. Serve in warmed pasta bowls.

- 75 grams butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 150 grams mushrooms, sliced
- 250 ml thickened or pouring cream
- 420 grams can tuna, (drained and flaked)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Freshly ground black pepper and Salt, to taste
- 500 grams farfalle (butterfly pasta)
