- Steam the broccoli and cauliflower for 8-10 minutes, until tender.
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet, until the pasta is tender, and then drain.
- Meanwhile, make the cheese sauce. Melt the butter in a small heavy-based saucepan over a low heat.
- Gradually add the flour, beating well to form a smooth paste.
