SAVOYARD POTATOES
Savoyard Potatoes can be prepared in just 30 minutes, while it can be cooked for 20 minutes! It’s perfectly made with potatoes, melted butter, Gruydre cheese, ground black pepper, wine, Paprika, stock and waxy potatoes! Prepare for this dish to your entire family for them to be satisfied as well!

Preparation Method :
- Place the potatoes in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave for 15 minutes, then drain.
- Combine the garlic with the butter or margarine. Butter a deep dish.
- Fill the dish with alternate layers of potato slices, two-thirds of the cheese and two- thirds of the butter mixture, sprinkling salt and pepper between the layers.
- Beginning and ending with potatoes.
- Gradually pour in the wine and stock carefully down the side of the dish, then scatter over the remaining cheese and garlic butter. Sprinkle with paprika.
- Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 18 - 20 minutes, turning the dish 3 times.
- Cook on Full for an extra 5 minutes if extra soft is needed. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then uncover and serve.

- 1 kg waxy potatoes, very thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 5 tablespoon melted butter
- 150 grams Gruydre cheese
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 150 ml wine
- 150 ml stock
