BUTTERED AND FLUFFED SWEET POTATOES WITH CREAM

Preparation Method :

  • Put the potatoes in a 6 cups dish. Add the water.
  • Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 8 minutes, turning the dish 2 times.
  • Allow to stand for 4 minutes. Drain and mash finely. Thoroughly beat in the butter and cream. Season well to taste.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl, cover and reheat on Full for 2 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 tablespoons boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 4 tablespoons whipped cream,warmed
  • 500 grams sweet pink-skinned and yellow-fleshed potatoes (not yams), peeled and diced
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
