RED CABBAGE WITH WINE
Red Cabbage with Wine is an extraordinary dish that comes from the microwave! It can give you a sense of fulfillment because of its potent ingredients which include red win, soft brown sugar, onions, apples, caraway seeds, corn flour and malt vinegar!

Preparation Method :
- Put the shredded cabbage into a 9 cup dish. Add half the boiling water and 1 teaspoon of the salt.
- Cover and cook on Full for 10 minutes, turning the dish 3 times.
- Stir well, then mix in the remaining wine and boiling water and remaining salt, the onions, apples, sugar and caraway seeds.
- Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it to allow steam to escape.
- Cook on Full for 20 minutes, turning the dish 4 times. Remove from the microwave.
- Mix the cornflour smoothly with the vinegar and cold water.
- Add to the hot cabbage and mix well. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 12 minutes, stirring 4 times. Leave until cold before chilling overnight.
- To serve, recover with fresh clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape, then heat on Full for 6 minutes before serving.
- Transfer a portion to side plates and cover each with kitchen paper, then reheat individually on Full for 1 - 2 minutes each.

- 2 tablespoons light soft brown sugar
- 1 kg red cabbage, trimmed and finely shredded
- 250 ml red wine
- 250 ml boiling water
- 3 onions, finely chopped
- 3 cooking apples, peeled and grated
- ½ teaspoon caraway seeds
- 2 tablespoons corn flour
- 3 tablespoons malt vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon cold water
