TURKEY JAMBAIAYA

The Turkey jambaiaya is filled with delicious ingredients that match to all food cravers! When you taste it, you will find this dish more irresistible and appetizing. To have this recipe regularly, all you have to do is to prepare its ingredients and other flavorings.

Preparation Method :

  • Arrange the turkey round the edge of a deep dish. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 5 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Transfer the turkey to a board and cut into cubes. Pour the turkey cooking juices into a jug and reserve.
  • Wash and dry the dish, add the butter and melt, uncovered, on Full for about 2 minutes. Stir in the reserved liquid, the turkey, Prepared vegetables, garlic, rice and tomatoes.
  • Season to taste with the salt. Cover as before and cook on Full for 20 minutes until the rice grains are dry and have absorbed all the moisture.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes, fluff up with a fork and serve straight away.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 boned turkey breast
  • 50 grams butter or margarine
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 red (bell) pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 250 grams easy-cook long-grain rice
  • 400 grams chopped tomatoes in tomato juice
  • Salt  to taste
