TURKEY IN CREAMY PEPPER SAUCE

Turkey in creamy pepper sauce – your way to surprise your loved ones! Through cooking this recipe, you will surely amaze your special friend because of its captivating ingredients and seasonings. Once you prepare this, you and your friend will surely enjoy this

Preparation Method :

  • Put the butter or margarine in a deep 20 cm / 8 in diameter dish. Melt, uncovered, on Full for 1 minute. Add the onion. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Cut the turkey breast across the grain into 2.5 cm / 1 in wide strips. Mix well into the butter and onions. Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 5 minutes, turning the dish 3 times. Meanwhile, mix the cornflour smoothly with the cold water.
  • Stir in all the remaining ingredients except the rice. Combine with the turkey breast and onion, moving the mixture to the edges of the dish and leaving a small hollow in the centre.
  • Cover as before and cook on Full for 10 minutes, turning the dish four times. Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Stir round before serving with the rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 boned turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons bottled or canned Madagascan green peppercorns
  • 150 ml soured (dairy sour) cream
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour  
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • Salt to taste
  • 250 grams long-grain rice, boiled
