TURKEY IN CIDER

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
8 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put butter or margarine in a 500 ml dish. Melt, uncovered, on Defrost for 40 seconds.
  • Mix in the turkey and garlic. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 4 minutes.
  • Combine the remaining dry ingredients smoothly with the cider. Uncover the turkey and stir in the cider mixture.
  • Cover as before and cook on Full for 4 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before eating with mashed potato.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams turkey breast fillet, cut into small cubes
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon gravy granules or stock powder
  • 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 100 ml dry cider
  • Salt to taste
  • Mashed potato, to serve
