MEAT-STUFFED PEPPERS

Searching is finally over if you are looking for a perfect microwave recipe. With meat stuffed peppers, you and your family will surely love this delectable taste. To prepare this mouth-watering dish, you need to gather all its ingredients and follow its cooking guidelines.

Preparation Method :

  • Put the butter or margarine in a dish and heat on Full for 2 minute. Add the onion. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes.
  • Mix in the meat. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 4 minutes. Stir in the rice, herbs, salt and half of the water.
  • Spoon the mixture into the peppers. Arrange upright and close together in a clean deep dish.
  • Replace the lids and pour the rest of the water into the dish around the peppers for gravy.
  • Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 16 minutes, turning the dish 3 times. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 green (bell) peppers, Rinsed, seeds and inner fibres discarded
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 150 ml hot water
  • 250 grams lean mince beef
  • 2 tablespoons long-grain rice
  • 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
  • Salt to taste
