BAKED STUFFED AVOCADOS WITH PRAWNS

Baked Stuffed Avocados with Prawns is such a delectable dish that can be prepared at home! It contains a lot of ingredients such as celery stalks, white breadcrumbs, lemon peel, onion salt, paprika, ground black pepper, breadcrumbs and melted butter!

15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Combine the celery, white bread-crumbs, lemon peel, onion salt, paprika and cream and add pepper to taste. Halve the avocados and remove the stones (pits).
  • Scoop out some of the flesh to make room for the filling and mash coarsely. Add the flesh to the crumb mixture with the prawns.
  • Mix well and pile into the avocado shells. Arrange on a plate with the pointed ends towards the centre.
  • Sprinkle with the toasted breadcrumbs, then trickle the butter over the top. Cover with kitchen paper and warm on Full for 4 - 5 minutes. Eat straight away.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoons fresh white breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 50 ml single (light) cream
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 medium-large just-ripe avocados
  • 175 grams peeled prawns
  • 4 teaspoons toasted breadcrumbs
  • 4 teaspoons melted butter
