LETTUCE CREAM SOUP
Lettuce Cream Soup is such a perfect soup that you can prepare on a cold weather! It has its powerful effect to overrule the weather because of its healthy and delicious ingredients! Some of its ingredients include margarine, butter, onions, soft lettuce, cream milk, corn flour, vegetable stock and salt!

- Melt 50 grams / 2 oz / ¼ cup of the butter margarine in a 8 cup bowl on Defrost for 2 minuties. Mix in the onions and lettuce. Cover with a plate and cook on Full for 3½ minutes.
- Transfer to a blender with one-third of the milk. Work to a smooth puree. Return to the bowl.
- Mix the cornflour smoothly with 60 ml / 4 tablespoon of the remaining milk. Add to the soup with all the remaining milk, the hot water or stock and the salt.
- Cook, uncovered, on Full for 15 minutes, whisking frequently to ensure smoothness. Serve in warmed bowls with 5 ml / 1 teaspoon butter added to each.

- 250 grams round soft lettuce, cut into strips
- 600 ml full-cream milk
- 2 tablespoons cornflour (cornstarch)
- 300 ml hot water or vegetable stock
- ½ teaspoon salt
