CURRY SOUP WITH RICE
The curry soup with rice is perfect for you. It has celery stalks, and chicken stock. It adds to the delightful meals and delicious dish. It is better to serves with plain yoghurt. You can make it in just about 35 minutes. Try it at home!

Preparation Method :
- Pour the oil into a 9 cup dish. Heat, uncovered for 1 minute.
- Add the onions and celery. Cook, uncovered for 5 - 7 minutes, stirring once.
- Mix in the curry powder, sherry, stock, rice, salt and soy sauce. Cover with a plate and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring twice.
- Add the chicken. Cover as before and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Ladle into bowls and top each with a swirl of yoghurt or creme fraiche.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons groundnut oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon mild curry powder
- 2 tablespoons medium-dry sherry
- 1 litre chicken or vegetable stock
- 125 grams long-grain rice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 150 grams cooked chicken, cut into strips
- Thick plain yoghurt or creme fraiche, to serve
