CHICKEN AND RICE BROTH

Preparation Method :

  • Put the chicken into a 3 cup dish. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 2 - 3 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes.
  • Uncover and add the rice, onions, herbs and gravy granules or stock powder mixed with the water.
  • 04Season to taste. Cover as before and cook on Defrost for 7 minutes. Allow to stand for 3 minutes before eating.

INGREDIENTS

  • 220 grams chicken 
  • 1 tablespoon easy-cook long-grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon dried sliced onions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley or coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon gravy granules or stock powder
  • 150 ml hot water
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
