CARROT WITH ORANGE SOUP

Carrot with Orange Soup is such a powerful dish that can ultimately be served to your friends and family! It extends its flavorful ingredients- corn flour, large carrots, orange peel, cold milk, salt, hot water, single cream! So what are you still waiting for, shop them all!

Preparation Method :

  • Place the cornflour in a 3 litres / 5¼ pt / 12 cup bowl. Mix smoothly with the liquid from the can of carrots.
  • Blend the carrots to a puree in a blender or food processor. Add to the bowl with the milk and salt.
  • Cook, uncovered, on Full for 12 minutes until thickened whisking gently 4 - 5 times to ensure smoothness. Thin down with the hot water.
  • Add the grated orange peel, to the soup half-way through cooking.
  • Spoon into warmed bowls and swirl 10 ml / 2 teaspoons cream in each portion.
  • Top each portion with whipped cream to which a little Grand Marnier has been added.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons cornflour (cornstarch)
  • 1 large can carrots
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 400 ml cold milk
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 250 ml hot water
  • 4 tablespoons single (light) cream
