GOOSEBERRY SAUCE

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the gooseberries in a 6 cups bowl with the water.
  • Cover with a plate and cook on Full for 6 minutes or until soft and pulpy, stirring twice.
  • Beat until smooth. Mix in the lemon peel ,sugar and butter or margarine. Serve warm or cold.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams trimmed gooseberries
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
  • 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
