Preparation Method :
- Put the mustard, sugar, ginger, cayenne wine or port in a 6 cups bowl and heat, uncovered on Full for 4 - 6 minutes , stirring 2 - 3 times.
- Mix in the cornflour smoothly with the cold water. Mix into the wine ingredients with the remaining ingredients.
- Heat uncovered on Full for 6 minutes, stirring every minute or until the sauce is thickened and smooth and the jelly has melted. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 75 grams redcurrant jelly
- 1 teaspoon mild made mustard
- 2 tablespoons light soft brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- 300 ml dry white wine or port
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 tablespoon corn flour
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- Juice of 1 small orange
- Juice of 1 lemon
