CREOLE SAUCE

Preparation Method :

  • Put the oil, onion and garlic in a 9 cups bowl.Cook, uncovered, on Full for 6 minutes, stirring 2 times.
  • Mix in the olives, green pepper and mushrooms. Cook, uncovered on Full for 2 - 4 minutes.
  • Stir in all the remaining ingredients. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 8 minutes, turning the bowl 2 times or until the sauce is hot.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes before using.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 1 garlic clove,
  • 2 tablespoons stoned green olives chopped
  • ½ small green pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 50 grams mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 small bay leaf
  • 500 grams chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons dark soft brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco
  • 2 inch strip lemon peel
