AUSTRIAN APPLE AND HORSERADISH SAUCE

15 minutes

Cooking Time :
9 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the apples in a 6 cups bowl with the water. Cover with a plate and cook on Full for 6 minutes or until soft and pulpy, stirring twice.
  • Stir in all the remaining ingredients. Cover as before and cook on Full for 3 minutes. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons blanched and finely chopped almonds
  • 3 tablespoons finely grated fresh horse radish
  • 500 grams cooking apples, peeled, quartered, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons icing sugar, sifted  
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons malt vinegar
