JELLIED RUSSIAN SALAD
Jellied Russian Salad is such a tempting and delicious food you can’t ever resist! It contains a lot of ingredients like anchovy sauce, olives, gherkins, capers, carrots, potatoes, vegetable stock and gelatin! This can also be added to one of your microwave recipes!

Preparation Method :
- Pour 3 tablespoons of the stock in a bowl. Stir in the gelatine. Allow to stand for 20 minutes. Melt, uncovered on Defrost for 3 minutes.
- Stir in the remaining stock with the mayonnaise. Cover when cold, then chill until just beginning to thicken.
- Stir the carrots and potatoes and peas into the setting jelly with all the remaining ingredients.
- Transfer to a 6 cups wetted jelly mould. Cover and chill for 3 - 4 hours or until firm.
- To serve, dip the mould in and out of bowl of hot water to loosen, then run a hot wet knife gently round the sides.
- Invert on to a wetted plate before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- 300 ml cold vegetable stock
- 1 tablespoon powdered gelatine
- 100 ml mayonnaise
- 250 grams diced carrots and potatoes
- 2 tablespoons drained capers
- 50 grams chopped gherkins
- 2 tablespoons cooked peas
- 10 stuffed olives, sliced
- 3 teaspoons anchovy sauce
