RICH TURKISH PILAF

Rich Turkish Pilaf is such a delightful and excellent dish to serve with guests! It merely contains ingredients like risotto rice, salt, water, butter, olive oil, onions, pine nuts, liver, raisins and tomatoes! This is such a tempting and delicious food you could ever be proud of!

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the rice in a deep dish on full for 3 minutes . Boiling water or stock should be used and the dish covered with clingfilm.
  • Slit to allow steam to escape, with the salt and the cinnamon stick added. Set aside.
  • Put the butter and oil in a 6 cups bowl and heat, uncovered, on Full for 1 minute. Mix in all the ingredients.
  • Cover with a plate and cook on Full for 6 minutes, stirring twice.
  • Stir gently into the hot rice with a fork. Cover and reheat on Full for 3 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams easy-cook risotto rice
  • Boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 in piece cinnamon stick
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons toasted pine nuts
  • 25 grams lambs' or chicken liver, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons currants or raisins
  • 2 tomatoes, blanched, skinned and chopped
