Preparation Method :
- Stir together the rice, salt and water in a 3 cups dish. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
- Stand the dish on a plate to catch any water when boil over. Cook on Full for 10 - 12 minutes. Allow to stand for 4 minutes.
- Fork in the cheese, milk or cream, mustard and hot pepper sauce to taste.
- Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs, then dust with paprika. Reheat, uncovered, on Full for 1 minute. Allow to stand for 30 seconds before eating.
INGREDIENTS
- 75 grams easy-cook long-grain rice
- 300 ml boiling water
- 50 grams Red Leicester cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons milk or single cream
- 1 teaspoon mild made mustard
- Few drops Tabasco or other hot pepper sauce
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon toasted brown breadcrumbs
- Paprika
