CHINESE EGG RICE

Preparation Method :

  • Stir together all the ingredients in a 3 cups dish. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
  • Stand the dish on a plate to catch the water. Cook on Full for 8 - 10 minutes.
  • Add in the chopped spring onions, prawns and chopped hard-boiled egg. Cover as before and reheat on Full for 1 minute.
  • Allow to stand for 5 minutes, then stir round before eating.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 chopped spring onions
  • 25 grams cooked and shelled prawns
  • 1 chopped hard-boiled egg
  • 75 grams easy-cook long-grain rice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 300 ml boiling water
  • IDHAYAM sesame oil for frying
