ROMAN-STYLE PORK FILLETS

If you are tired to eating Italian foods, then why not try something different. You can try the Roman-Style Pork Fillets recipe which is usually offered in some high class restaurants. This recipe is easy to cook since you will just accomplish few cooking instructions.

Preparation Method :

  • Pour the oil into a deep 25 cm / 10 in diameter dish. Heat on Full for 1 minute. Stir in the onion and garlic. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 5 minutes, stirring twice.
  • Add the pork to the dish in single layer. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 5 minutes.
  • Turn over and cook, , on Full for a further 2 minutes. Sprinkle with the tomato juice and oregano, top with the Mozzarella slices, then stud with the capers.
  • Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
  • Cook on Full for 2 minutes or until the cheese is just melting. Serve with polenta.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 150 gm slices pork fillet, beaten until very thin
  • 4 tablespoons tomato juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 150 grams Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons capers Polenta
